President’s Corner
The weather has caused fishing to be sporadic so far this season. There seems to be a record
number of blanks. Emigrant Lake is a good example with 22 blanks on Saturday and 10 blanks on Sunday with fewer fishermen
(fisher people) on Sunday.
The Shastina Team Tournament proved to be good fishing and while
not as many fished this year, each boat caught their limits. Irongate provided challenges of it’s own again mainly due
to unpredictable weather and unstable water temperatures.
It always goes back to the same fact
though: A day fishin’ is a good day !
Our next tournament will be June 14 and 15. We fish Hyatt Lake on Saturday and Howard Prairie on Sunday.
See you there! Marc Gallo, President

NOTE FROM THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR
The tournament
director would like to remind you to pay in small bills when at all possible. It makes payouts much
easier. If you pay in advance and cannot attend the tournament, your money will be returned
to you. You must attend the next meeting and pay in advance to get 2 draws.
Due to the growth of the club and the time it takes to determine the winners, it has
been approved to provide pay out at the next club meeting. At weigh in please check in with the tournament
director even if you did not catch any fish . If only one boater comes to weigh
in, please give the status of your co-angler or fishing partner for the day.
We will be meeting on the water at 5:00 a.m. June 14 at Hyatt Lake for blast off at first
safe light.
CLUB PICNIC
The club picnic has been set for July 26 at Lost Creek Lake. There
will be an early morning team tournament before the picnic for those who want
to fish.
FISH TRANSFER DAY
The fish transfer from Hyatt Lake to Lost Creek Lake is still scheduled on June 21.
